THE SHOP
What our handlers actually carry
Most of what sells in pet stores is the same imported product under different labels. Some of it we make in our own workshop — laser cutter, 3D printer, industrial sewing. The rest our handlers picked and use on the trail themselves.
CATEGORIES
Four groups, all of them in the shuttle
Not Perfect
What we make ourselves, in small runs. Honest seams, hand-finished details, no two batches exactly alike. Caps to begin with — bags and clothing to follow.
Gift boxes
A mug for you and a toy for her, packed together in a cotton pouch inside a kraft box. Eleven colourways, each with a different toy.
Merch
Collars, leads, harnesses, trail gear, grooming and the clothing we wear ourselves. Replaced when it wears, not when it looks tired.
Food
Whole bags of food, vitamins and supplements, plus the treats we hand out on the trail. Sealed exactly as the maker packs them.
MATERIALS
Why we make it instead of buying it
Formaldehyde and phenolic compounds are common in low-cost pet goods, and the EPA classifies formaldehyde as a carcinogen. That is the short reason we stopped sourcing and started making.
Everything we sell is used on real trips before it is offered. If it does not survive a season in the forest, it does not go in the shop.
If it is not in the shuttle, it is not in the shop.

The first day is on us
We meet you and your dog, take her out for a full day, and send you the photos. If it is not right for her, you have lost an afternoon and paid nothing.
